I have CFS/CFIDS/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. I am about 90% recovered, now that I am in a "healthy location". I have heard from others who have come to this part of the world, with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome, ME. Most, but sadly not all, who have come here report being more or less recovered while here. I have also received similar reports from specific other locations.

This Group is to promote friendly discussion about places where people have gone and feel more or less recovered from CFS/ME/CFIDS. Please let us know how you were in various places, by using our database and message board! If you have gone to some places that were recommended and were not well, we need to hear from you.

I am greatful to hear about places where people feel a bit better due to clean air, and good weather, ec.,though that is not the main purpose of the Group.

I am most definitely not a health professional. So far, I have not been successful in finding an expert who can research the "feel great places" phemonena. I cannot pay anyone, but would love to hear from someone who is qualified. They might make a name for themselves!
I hope that we get a lot of feedback on this important issue!

PS: We have started to hear from people with Fibromyalgia who have found "Feel Great" places! ***May 2008 update: Sadly, after a long absence from "well" locations, I now find I am no longer well for more than a few days in such locations. However, others have found they can be well in for extended periods in "well" locations, so I hope all of you get a chance to try one. Please Join in!
